Standaard vindt er communicatie plaats tussen de tv of monitor en de NetcamViewer Monitor via de hdmi-kabel.
Indien dit in de automatische stand niet correct verloopt is het mogelijk om via de API de hdmi-modus vast te zetten.

Standaard staat de NetcamViewer Monitor op modus 0; auto detect. De groepen dienen (indien groep 1 of 2 wordt gespecificeerd) samen gebruikt te worden met de juiste modus.
De meest voorkomende groep is 1 (CEA).
De meest voorkomende resoluties zijn 1080p en 720p, beide op 60Hz.
Dit resulteert in de volgende API-commando's:

http://[IPADRESS]/commands/set-hdmi/1-4 (voor 720p)

Tip: PAL landen waren historisch gezien 50hz en NTSC landen 60hz. Echter zullen alle nieuwere HDMI tv’s standaard op 60hz werken.
